We hope you'll find useful information here to make your visit with us as enjoyable as possible. The Bladnoch is a small, friendly Inn, ideally located by the banks of the river Bladnoch and just a short distance from Wigtown, Scotland's National Book Town. in Galloway southwest Scotland.

We are family-run. We're sure you'll find that our tranquil setting and excellent food will ensure a memorable visit. Galloway is as yet an unspoilt area with wonderful countryside and quiet roads but much to see and do. You will enjoy relaxing in our friendly bar with open fire or dining in our à la carte restaurant on the finest traditional food in the region. Our bar menu is hard to beat and is open daily (12 - 3pm & 6 - 9:15pm). All food is sourced fresh locally.

Country Sports and Pursuits
For over 45 years the Bladnoch has been a home for the country pursuits enthusiast. We offer tailor made excursions for the following:

• Fishing - our own beat, close by on the river Bladnoch
  
• Wildfowling and pheasant shooting
• Deer stalking
• Arrangements made to suit your requirements
• Guides available for all activities
• Clay pigeon shooting arranged
